| Artist's Statement FROM THE FOREST TO THE SEA Debrah Novak has lived and worked on the North Coast for over 30 years. Previously from Byron Bay, Debrah currently works as a photojournalist and commercial photographer, based in the Clarence Valley. Her photo-art is based on local nature themes with the emphasis on what Mother Nature provides with the naked eye rather than what the photographer can do to enhance by technical manipulation. "I am constantly amazed at what Mother Nature comes up with in terms of colour and design, and on a daily basis.
